J is for Jerry-Rigged A-Z Blogger Challenge

If you want a serious case of the heebie-jeebies, try crossing this bridge in the dark! Definitely a prime example of something that's been jerry-rigged. You might even think twice about using it!
There are any number of jerry-rigged items in my workshop and kitchen. How about you? Do you have anything that was put together on a wing and prayer? I'd sure like to know about some of them. Short post, today, got lots to get done.

  1. I don't think I would chance crossong that bridge. A very good J word.

  2. Hahaha! Umm ... NOT. Scary is RIGHT!

We have a bench with a dilapidated arm/leg that is forever coming off. My husband keeps jerry-rigging it together but it still falls apart regularly. Think it's time to get a new one!

  3. I think I'd be alright crossing it it the dark if I hadn't seen it in daylight! How do the authorities allow it to be used?

We have a couch in our conservatory with a loose castor - it's OK to move as long as you 'roll' and don't lift it when moving. It's a five-minute job to fix it but I don't move the couch that often anyway.....one day I'll get round to it! ;-p

SueH I refuse to go quietly!

  4. I always liked the sound of this phrase, but the meaning is scarier. For several years my husband made stained glass on top of a piece of homosote balanced on our ironing board--definitely jerry rigged.

  5. I don't like bridges even when they look stable. The picture of this one makes me dizzy.
